What is the relationship between Mah jong and Solitaire?

could you please tell me how solitaire is an "incarnation" of Mah Jong? If you know the answer....Thank you soo much!!|||they both are one player game. Mah jong is also a two to four player game and it's called four winds and in four winds, four players can play against each other - North Wind, South Wind, East Wind and West Wind. i don't know the rules to four wind, but mah jong and solitaire are similuar because they both could be both a one player game. i play both mah jong and solitaire.
