I have been trying to get into pyramids and mah jong, what is up with yahoo games??
it's really very annoying, alot of people i know are having the same trouble so it's not my pc|||They are having problems with the Yahoo Games site. Yahoo knows and is working to fix it. Be patient!|||i miss the mah jong game too.|||Yahoo games server is down. No telling when it'll be back to normal. It seems to go and come, sometimes continuous logging in and out and "click here" if game applet doesn't open results in you making it in. But i think it's the games server for yahoo.

When will yahoo get abra academy and the new mah jong quest2? both good game's?
Abra academy is on bigfishgames.com, at least the downloadable version. And you can buy it for 6.99 if you join the club. Not sure about Mahjong, but have found they have most of the yahoo games I enjoyed there. Just wish I had found it before I spent 19.99 on so many games. How to play mah jong?
Each player is dealt either 13 tiles for 13-tile variations or 16 tiles for 16-tile variations.
A turn involves a player's drawing of a tile from the wall (or draw pile) and then placing it in his hand. The player then discards a tile onto the table. This signals the end of his turn, prompting the player to the right to make his move. As a form of courtesy, each player is encouraged to announce loudly the name of the tile being discarded. Then there are special tiles. Its not just about making matches with all your tiles - players are striving to make "bonus points". I have one of the old American Melamine sets from the twenties with only 152 Tiles. I know I can play the Chinese version, by substitution but I need pointers.|||I play Mahjongg solitaire online all the time, and have made my own tilesets (probably 100+) that I use when I play Mahjong Towers Eternity. They use layouts of up to 720 tiles each (but the sets are only 36 distinct types numbering 4 each, or 144 total) created by players. As you solve each layout, you get so many points and move up by levels (bronze, silver, gold) of each of the 12 Chinese zodiac signs (snake, rat, etc)

Yahoo! used to have a Mah Jong area where you had daily boards to clear. Where is it? What happened?
The program is either corrupt or they took it out because of technical problems. But I'm sure they will put it back again, because Mah Jong is a classic game.

You can only remove matching pairs of tiles, there are 2 exceptions the 4 seasons and 4 major flowers which as such do not match, but again only 2 at a time

How do you play mah jong?
there are different rules for different places and its hella complicated. if u want to learn find an old asian person or forget about it. i suggest for you putting the tiles on the floor face up and taking matching pairs off two at a time, but only if one of their sides are exposed|||it is very hard to set up so i say practice online 1st

Why i can't get mah jong solitare?
it tells me it's web version but it don't come in when i select it|||Are you speaking of the Yahoo games? When I look there, I find four versions of Mah Jong that are for solitary players: Medley, Quest, Towers, and Escape. I clicked on the Quest one and got in okay. Took a couple of minutes, but then, I am on dial-up and expect that!

go to http://www.shove-it.com and under yahoo games you will find it.find game you want to play.click on file,send,desktop short cut.this gives you a straight link to shove it. You can rt click on the icon and rename it to the game,now click on lounge,log in,it will probably take you to my yahoo.minimize it. now click lounge again and open window back up. your in. nice thing is you can get in any lounge or game that鈥檚 full or not. good luck with your games

I play it everyday, but suddenly, today, I can't open it.|||It is under Puzzles Games, not Board Games.|||Go to Windows Explorer, try to open it from there. If you can, create a new shortcut to your desktop and delete the old one. If that doesn't work, re-install it.|||If you aren't already try playing it from Candystand.com once you are there under the puzzle tab you will get a bunch of different puzzle choices you should find it then. But if you have been going to that site and now suddenly find it won't work I don't what to tell you other than to click refresh.|||go www.pogo .com|||Yahoo has put it under the board game tab now.
